October 2012 was a busy month. \u00a0Maybe because Montreal is hosting the RIDM (Rencontres international du documentaire de Montr\u00e9al or International Documentary festival of Montreal) early november but I was swapped by requests to grade documentaries. I actually only two. \u00a0The first one is “Le Prix des mots”. It’s an immersive docu that brings you in the kafkaian world of the Canadian Justice system by following an indie book editor getting sued by an international mining company. Produced by MC2 and directed by Julien Fr\u00e9chette, the movie will be presented on Nobember 9th.<\/p>\n
The second one is a 72 minutes documentary directed by Marie-Claude Dupont who followed the parties in the 2012 presidential election in Burundy. \u00a0In “Demokarasi”, she gives an interesting look at the “democratic” process behind the contested elections. \u00a0It should be in theatres soon.
